Multicultural Affairs.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs exists to provide supportive services to minority students and to assist those students in greater participation in the life of the university. Academic outreach activities are also provided. Programming in targeted areas of diversity, cultural competence and education are provided by the Director working in conjunction with CUB, SGA, and other student organizations.

The Office symbolizes a safe haven for students and an area that students can identify with and call their own. The Director serves as an advocate for and supporter of students of color academically, personally, and psychologically. The end result of these efforts is the recruitment and retention of greater numbers of minority students with graduation being the ultimate goal.
