Academic counseling is useful when students are confronted with test anxiety, time management, and difficulty with studying. Personal counseling is offered when life's challenges interfere with a student's ability to learn. Mental Health and substance abuse diagnosis and treatment services are available on campus on an out patient basis. These services are provided by a licensed psychotherapist free of charge for registered AASU students. Referrals to other local treatment options including medication will also be provided.
Students can expect a private, confidential meeting free of charge. To schedule an appointment, telephone 344-2582 or go to the Division of Student Affairs on the second floor of Memorial College Center.
